Hi everybody, Im living in Ireland and suffered from achilles pain for over 2 years off and on, mainly from track and field sprints and hurdles. I was reffered to a surgeon in Dublin who specialises in high powered laser treatement and the results were amazing. After 1 session i had no more pain! No more morning aches and I was able to resume full sprints and hurdles training. However 3 months later I have this pain in my lower calf again, but its not on the tendon where I had the initial trouble. Its higher up in the thicker part of the tendon/soleus. Its not sore to pinch and not sore in the morning. Could this be more of a muscle issue than tendinitis? Flexibilty is good. I think what brought it on was a heavy hurdling session but I had been literally pain free for 3 months since laser treatment. Im going back for more anyway!
