and is looking really well - there was more damage than they 1st suspected I wont go into details cos will let her update you all the all the juicy details cos she will need things to keep her occupied

I haven't seen the pics yet, but yes there was a lot of damage to the labrum which was thin and calcified in places...he was unable to do the repair due to this so had to remove that part of the labrum. There was also a lot of damage to the femoral head/neck which he shaved down.
I spent 2 nights in the hospital, got out this morning feeling a hundred times better than I was post op. Been taking some fairly heavy duty pain killers so I guess I will wait and see how things are when they wear off. At the mo I have gone from not being able to lift my leg at all post op (Tuesday), to weight bearing today...will take it slowly but if this is how things are to be then I feel like i'm already half way recovered!
