    Default MRI reading

. I have just had an MRI Arthogram which stated the following:

Osseous densites are present at the anterior aspect of the distal supraspinatus tendon, likely representing foci of dystrophic ossification

There is a moderate grade partial thickness undersurface tear at the superior aspect of the subscapularis tendon

fluid bright signal extravasates into the undersurface of the anterior inferior glenoid labrum consistent with tearing

does anyone know what all this is saying

i've had so many mri scans and work in a para-medical area and could give you an indication, but it's counterproductive sometimes to know what the scan means in isolation before you speak with the person who's actually treating you. go to your doc - two people could have the exact same mri result but have it mean two different things for each of them, so you need context. your doctor will explain it to you.

How old are you? How long have you had the injury/pain? There is a tear in one of your rotator cuff muscles, you have an older injury to another (supraspinatus) hence the ossification, and finally tearing of the cartilage/labrum of the shoulder.
