    Default Diagnosing a Thumb Injury

I injured my thumb a while back by jamming it pretty bad. Went to Urgent Care and they told me it was fine, but 3 months later I am still feeling pain. Something feels off. I initially thought it was a fracture, but I got my X-Rays released and now I am thinking it is mildly displaced or something.

Can anyone check out these x-rays and let me know what they would diagnose this injury as? If it is serious enough I will visit a hand specialist, but I want to make sure I am not wasting my time being a hypochondriac.

    Thanks in advance!

I am no expert at this but it does look slightly displaced. If you are still having issues with this I would suggest going to a hand specialist. Its better to be safe than sorry!

It could well be worth going to a hand specialist to get an expert opinion on this sort of injury. Like robadams said, better safe than sorry.
