Bicep Tendon Injury?

The biceps muscle is located on the inside and front of the upper arm. A biceps tendon rupture is an injury that occurs to the biceps tendon causing the attachment to separate from the bone. A bicep tendon injury occurs when the bicep muscle is torn away from the joint.

I tore my right distal bicep tendon off the bone on the 21st jan 13 and had surgery the 24th jan 13, my arm is in a sling and pain not too bad just the nerves are numb. What do i have in store and will anything help heal properly
