Warriors second rower Danny Sullivan is confirmed to be out with a knee injury as well.
What a pitty-He went through hell just to play again and he then suffers another knee injury.
It didnt seem to long ago when he was labeled the next big thing.
In other news:
In a body blow to the Sea Eagles star halfback Michael Monaghan faces surgery tomorrow to re-attach the tendon to the ring finger on his left hand and will miss between 6 to 8 weeks.
Monaghan had his worst fears confirmed today when x-rays revealed he had torn the tendon off the bone on the finger.
Coach Des Hasler said it was shocking luck for Monaghan.
"He was gradually working into top form and I thought he was great on Sunday in the big win over the Warriors - his injury couldn't have come at a worse time but we have to get on with the job without him for the next couple of months" Hasler said.
Monaghan injured the finger early in the second half of the game against the Warriors in Auckland.
Jye Mullane will mark Brett Kimmorley for sundays match against the Sharks.
