    Default groin pain

About a month ago i injured my groin whilst surfing , i didnt take any notice of the injury as it went away after a few days. Then about a week ago i hurt my groin again playing football. Now there is a constant nagging pain and i often have a "clicking" feeling in my groin. I have not been to see a docter and am unsure of what exactly I should do , although i have decided to rest from all sports for about four weeks. Is my groin likely to recover ? Is there anything special I can do to make sure i recover ? Anyone with any previous injury's or knowledge on this subject could you please contribute as it would be greatly appreciated

    CHEERS,

sounds like a groin strain, rest for sure, ice it, and personally I would go ans see a physio, at early stages like yours should be easy enough for a good physio to fix it....maybe some stretching and strenghtening would be good but go and see a physio and they'll tell you how to do it, but rest it from sport

Ahh thats positive , hopefully it is just a strain and i can get back to normal soon . Yeah will try to get to a physio and get some info , in the mean time i will just rest and use ice and maybe deep heat ? , cheers for the reply vitt
