I am a third year Medical Student and I have recently completed a research report on Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome, and was recommended by a few doctors and Podiatrists that I submit it to a Journal to see if I can get it published. I have never been through this process before, so I was wondering if you could please let me know how to go about it.
I can send you my report electronically (it is just over 10 000 words
long, and focuses on the prevention of Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome, a condition I am very familiar with as I am an endurance runner myself).
There are plenty of avenues for publication. The so-called peer-reviewed literature is the most prestigious place to publish research but it will only accept shortish pieces that either provide an excellent review or a new study. The beauty of the internet is that anyone can publish a piece, and if you fail to find another appropriate location, you are welcome to publish this review on the injuryupdate site!Originally Posted by Anonymous user
