    Default LEDs for Rapid Healing?

I'm a lifelong bodybuilder who has injured his shoulder. The orthopedist says it's tendonitis. I've done the P.R.I.C.E. (Protect, Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate) thing now for about six months and it's not getting better. I've also used NASIDS ( up to 2,400mg a day of ibuprofin). Recently I started looking into Infrared LEDs for pain and rapid healing. They look amazing and I'm eager to try them but they are so damned expensive I would like some unbiased feedback before I buy. I was wondering if any of you have tried them and could let me know what you think. Thanks

What does LED stand for? If you tendinitis you can get an ultrasound or MRI scan to see whether there is a tear, and/or you could try a cortisone shot?
