    Hi there,

I would go and see a sports physician/doctor at Pure Sports Medicine in London. They are great there. I was a patient there for a couple of years when I lived in London. They will be able to refer you to a top shoulder surgeon. Also, make sure you get referred to a physio that specialises in shoulders. Mine specialises in shoulders and makes a big difference.

Make sure you get referred to a surgeon that specialises in shoulders. It makes a huge difference. I've had both shoulders operated on and has made a huge difference seeing someone that specialises in shoulders.

Not sure I agree with conservative treatment working better. I've seen a pretty bad AC grade 3 which required surgery from my work at a football club last year. The player did really well I believe.

    Their website is www.puresportsmed.com

    I hope this helps !

one other question there ems to be a few options
    1 conservative non surgical
2 surgery early in the acute phase ? is this the tightrope
3 surgery late if conservative is not working

anyone know the advantage if any of early surgery ?

I believe with early surgery there is a better chance of recovery, particularly if you plan to return to competitive sport.
