just wanted to say very best of luck for Monday - I'm off on holiday on Thursday and busy with work tomorrow so probably won't get the chance to post until next week. I hope everything goes really well and you enjoy a nice sleep whilst Mr Witt is doing the hard work ! You're going to be in great hands and please don't walk too far on the way to the hospital.. I get it though - for my last surgery I walked into hospital (after months of crutches) with no limp feeling great and tried to talk my OS out of it !! So pain can be a good reminder of why you're there in weird way..

Anyway, take care next week - I will be thinking about you on Monday and wishing you a speedy and pain free recovery..

Last weekend before the big op - I know I don't need to say that do I! I feel more relaxed now and ready to go. Just want it over with.

If I'm not back in touch as we have a packed weekend ahead to distract me:

the very very best of luck with the surgery. I hope it goes really well, that the pain is well controlled and that you are back home very soon.

Good luck for tuesday, you will sail through it all I'm sure. I am on hand for post PAO advice or questions! I have to say I got given a commode last year for the PAO but refused to use it, though found it made a good additional chair for visitors in the lounge with a kind of novelty value! my friends loved playing with all my equipment ... more so than me.
Remember, you get the joy of using a zimmer post op for the first few days .. woohoo!

OMG, I can't believe its almost here! Its like something that has been looming for so long but you don't ever feel like it will happen. I am terrified and excited too. I know the weekend will fly by and it will be here before I know it.
Thanks for all the good wishes. I don't think I would have made it to this point without the support from you all.Hopefully I will be able to give an update whilst I'm in, if not will do as soon as I get home.

Do you think i'll have results the same day, or do they wait a few weeks for them?? As i'm not going to get a surgery date without the results of the scan first. Got butterflies in my Tummy for you, probably be in a right state sunday and monday for you both, but least it takes my mind off the ct scan, as i've never had one before so don't know what to expect. xx
