    hey Kate,

I'm doing ok thanks, getting quite a bit more pain now i can weight bear so back to taking the paras and ibus all the time, when I had weaned myself off, but that should improve. Back at uni to, so completely shattered, and finding it not great to sit and walk all day, but needs must. Hopefully organising some NHS physio for next week as I think I need some specific abductor exercises as they are pathetic right now, I can't walk without the crutches without leaning over loads, limping terribly and holding someones hands, my friends think its quite funny. so decided to be sensible and keep the crutches for a couple more weeks.

    getting there! xxx

Take it easy Sam. Its probably better to stick to the two until your muscles are stronger and you aren't limpimg so badly. Ask your physio about having hydrotherapy, I had it after my scope and it helped so much.
Hope your friends are all helping, as well as laughing!! You should milk it and get them running around after you!
Remember slow and steady wins the race,
    All the best

    Hey Sam,

You are doing well to have gone back to college so quickly so pleeeeeease take care - crazy to undo all the good that has been done. I am sure you will be well looked after despite the funny looks - a great test for their future patient empathy skills!

    Thanks both of you.

I reckon the new 30 is whatever age we get our new/improved hips so we can do whatever we want again!!

    Hi Kate,

How are you doing? I am now at the stage where I have chilled about the surgery. It is looming closer, is envitable and I know I have to go with the flow. I am sure I will be feeling a bit differently this time next week though!
