I heard on SEN today that Brad Green injured himself in the Freo game. Has anybody heard any info about this? Also is there any news on Mcphee's condition and when/if will he return?
I don't know anything, but, Green was at the Radiologist's for what he called the "flu"...
McPhee is listed as a TEST this week against Geelong (Bombers homepage), Abdominal strain... but even if they name him, would you put him in your dreamteam? going on Essendons recent history of Friday team lists, it's anyones guess as to who is going to turn this week.
It's a joke really.Sheedy must have too much time on his hands, wasting it all on setting up smoke screens around his injured players.
Yeah, just bother about winning a game or two this season

mmm... I played him (Dreamteam) as well as Simpson, named a reserve for McPhee but risked Simpson ... lost top spot on the ladder by half a percent... happy days, thanks Laidley & the Kanga's thanks AGAIN Sheeds and his reckless thugs... Rule one 2006 Dreamteam... leave all Bombers out!
Would love a study which compared results of teams with late changes to those who stayed intact. My guess would be: no statistical difference, indicating that late changes are of no help in winning whatsoever. Yes, sometimes they can't be avoided. But deliberate late changes to attempt to fool the opposition are probably a dick holding exercise of coaches.
here here! I guess the big smoke screens are all about how many Talls and how many Smalls, but surely just have a mix on your bench and you are prepared for all situations.
Earlier in the year someone suggested capping how many of these (late changes) they're allowed per year and once used up. The team you name, you play!
