Patellar tendon eccentric strengthening

How to perform eccentric (lengthening) patellar tendon strengthening exercises:

Eccentric quads exercise photo 1 1. Start by standing on the edge of a step.
Eccentric quads exercise photo 2 2. Step down on the injured leg (or leg you want to exercise)
Eccentric quads exercise photo 3 3. Slowly take the knee down to a bend of about 90 degrees and keep the knee bent.
Eccentric quads exercise photo 4 4. Put the other foot on the ground to share the weight
Eccentric quads exercise photo 5 5. Lift the foot performing the eccentric exercise off the ground without straightening the knee.
